Pembroke, A classic full brogue country-style derby shoe with wing tip design and punching detail. Made from the finest tan scotch grain with Dainite rubber soles and a storm welt for added waterproof protection.
The Crockett & Jones embossed grain leathers are made from European calf skins with a special tannage, which keeps them supple but strong. Their Scotch Grain print is known around the world, and has its origins in the 1920’s. This print is particularly suitable for boots.
Derby shoes are possibly the most versatile of all shoe styles, bridging the gap between smart and smart casual wear with ease. A Brogue Derby is easily the most recognisable variation, made popular with the introduction of the full country Brogue which was developed for practical uses in the fields. The sequence of operations for constructing a Derby, differs to an Oxford. Inside and outside Quarters are stitched to a tab point either side of the vamp and the tongue is cut as part of the vamp and is not a separate component. Often referred to as ‘Open Lacing’.
Produced in March 1995, the 325 Last has a medium round toe and increased toe depth. Now in production for 30 years, 325 is a best-selling last with its own timeline. Famed for country styles and loafers, 325 offer plenty of room in the fore-part.
