Barker shoes have been producing some of the highest quality shoes for almost 140 years. As you'd expect with a successful company that has been around for so long, they produce a large and diverse range of styles, going from the classic Oxford to the more contemporary Brogue.
We cast a light onto a trio of styles, Barker Mcclean, Barker Orkney and Barker Malvern.
Barker Mcclean
Firstly we will look at the best selling Barker brogue, Barker Mcclean. Whether worn with a well cut suit or paired with a nice pair of jeans with an open collared shirt, the Barker Mcclean will work superbly with a number of outfits, a staple of many a wardrobe.
Barker Mcclean is a modern take on a classic full brogue with either a suede or lasered paisley pattern insert, a firm favourite among the legions of Barker fans. This Barker Brogue is made from high quality Calf leather, with a full leather lining and in-sock, on a Goodyear welted leather sole which allows the shoe to be comfortable, breathable and long lasting.
Available currently in 6 colour options, their is certainly a shade for almost everyone, and due to the popularity of the Barker Mcclean they regularly review and introduce new colour options so the style always appears fresh.
Barker Orkney
We now move onto a slightly more casual style of Barker boots, the Barker Orkney. An ideal style for those more casual days and nights, they look fantastic with Chinos and jeans, the Almond shape toe gives the Barker Orkney a more elegant silhouette than most chukka boots. A great "all-rounder".
Barker Orkney is a versatile Chukka boot available in luxurious Cherry or Olive grained Calf leather with a durable Goodyear welted Dainite sole witch tapers beautifully from a single to a double sole, and with a full leather lining, again, makes for an incredibly comfortable pair of Barker Boots.
Barker Malvern
Finally we look at the most classic of Barker Oxfords the Barker Malvern, a sublime example of the traditional Oxford toe cap shoe. Worn with a well fitting suit they are perfect for Work, lose the jacket and tie and they are ideal for an evening out and teamed with a dinner jacket for those special parties they are sublime.
