BERWICK GO THROUGH TWO HUNDRED STEPS BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR FIRST

The shaft is connected to the insole by an invisible seam and a one-centimetre-wide strip of leather, the "welt", is sewn in.
The out-sole is then sewn to the outside of the welt with a second seam. The welted construction protects the foot optimally against cold, heat and water.
Produced in the early 1900's, Goodyear stitching and sewing Machines used for sewing the two bottom seams are still used today when it comes to welted shoes. It is this combination of technology, craftsmanship and years of experience that makes Berwick shoes the careful both quality and durable.
